Best Open World
Grand Theft Auto V
When it comes to open-worlds, there’s few out there that can challenge the open-world masters at Rockstar. Blaine County and the city of Los Santos are absolutely staggering achievements, packed with things to do and secrets to find. Poking around in any corner can unearth treasure troves of secrets and neat touches, whether it’s a huge ramp to launch your motorbike off, or the perfect location for your latest cop-baiting spree. None of it feels thrown together; everything in GTA 5 feels crafted to perfection, ready to be enjoyed.
Best Audio
Grand Theft Auto V
By now the sky-hgh production values of a game like Grand Theft Auto V shouldn’t be a surprise, but this is a game that is just oozing quality out of every pore. From hilarious one-liners and off-the-cuff remarks heard while strolling Los Santos’ streets, to the eclectic, fizzing soundtrack that successfully provides the background to almost any scene, GTA 5 is a winner.
Best Visuals
Grand Theft Auto V
It might have launched two years ago on the last-gen consoles, but Rockstar prodded, poked and tweaked, working wonders to create the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. It was worth the massive wait because GTA 5 is an absolute sight to behold. It’s the best looking version of one of the greatest games of all time - what’s not to love?
Game Of The Year 2015
Grand Theft Auto V
Having picked up the 'Most Anticipated Game of 2015' gong in the Global Game Awards last year, it was kind of inevitable that Rockstar's magnum opus would appear here. The wait for PC gamers was long and arduous, but there's no denying we've ended up with the ultimate version of the ultimate game. Sumptuous visuals, hour upon hour of gameplay, mod support, multiplayer updates. You name it, GTA 5 has it in spaces.
