What better way to get hyped for the upcoming Star Wars was there ever going to be than the maestros are DICE creating a new Star Wars Battlefront. The sheer spectacle on offer here is staggering. TIE Fighters scream across the skies as AT-ATs march on Hoth, and Luke Skywalker & Darth Vader are locked in the glow of a lightsaber duel. Star Wars Battlefront is the popcorn movie of the gaming world.
We’ve waited years to actually relive some of the classic battle scenes from the Star Wars movies and it’s finally arrived in the Star Wars Battlefront. The pitched 40-player battles are truly a sight to behold. The dazzling audio and spectacular visuals combine to form a multiplayer experience like no other. It’s too early to say whether it has long-term appeal, but right here, right now, just weeks before the movie, Star Wars Battlefront is burning bright.
In some ways it’s harder to work with an existing IP like Star Wars. We already know from the movies exactly what everything is supposed to look like, setting an impossible bar that none can reach. Except DICE that is, who didn’t let the 40-man player count get in the way of some sumptuous visuals.
