Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Another title that’s cropped up quite a lot in these awards, the dystopian future Deus Ex: Mankind Divided throws us into is hard not to get fully lost in. With commentary on current systems as much as future ones and an at times bleak look into where we might be heading, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is definitely one of the best sci-fi universes out there.
Game Of The Year 2016
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Succeeding the highly acclaimed Human Revolution, Eidos Montreal has given us another stellar addition to the (hard to pronounce in front of hard of hearing parents) Deus Ex series, with Mankind Divided. Thrown into the intricately detailed, winding streets of Prague, and given the role of laugh a minute Adam Jensen, you must traverse through the oppressive, socially upheaved world that he finds himself in. With newly improved shooting mechanics and more focus dedicated to the social decision aspect like the classic Deus Ex games, this new entry gives players more options than ever before.
Best Stealth
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Wow, when a game gets four nominations it must be good right? Finishing off its collection of potential accolades, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has also been an awesome stealth game this year. Despite making an effort to give you more options other than stealth, with a greatly improved combat system the doing the sneaky sneaky is even better than before.
Also nominated: Dishonored II, Hitman, Aragami
Best RPG
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
The opposite end of the spectrum to our other entries in this list, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided takes us to a dystopian future where augmented humans and just plain boring ones are locked in social upheaval. With more in depth options and paths for you to take alongside a thoroughly enjoyable combat system, Mankind Divided has been a great RPG this year.
Also nominated: Tyranny, Grim Dawn, Darkest Dungeon
