Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Splatoon 2 Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two Snipperclips
Best Children’s Game
A game doesn't have to be for adults only or layered with blood and gore to make for a truly spectacular experience. Many times in our gaming lives we will be stunned by the beauty and wonder that can fascinate even the smallest child.

This award looks for those titles that can stretch across all ages offering something for even the youngest gamer to enjoy. The category particularly focuses on titles that are playable by children aged 6-12. But parental discretion is always advised even in the games that we select as our nominees.

Splatoon 2
Maddeningly addictive, Splatoon 2 is to third-person shooters what Rocket League is to racing. Three-minute rounds keep things short, sharp and to the point. Created by Nintendo, Splatoon 2 is characteristically child-friendly, including no online voice communication and blood, bullets & guns replaced with ink, super soakers and paint brushes.
Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two
Minecraft is the biggest children’s gaming sensation in the world, and those after a story-focused blockbusting fix would do well to send a glance Story Mode’s way. Jesse and the gang are back for Season Two, heading off into the unknown for more adventures.
