Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy L.A. Noire Remastered StarCraft Remastered Yakuza Kiwami
Best Remaster
Gaming continues to mature at an incredible rate. The titles we loved just a decade ago have rapidly aged as developers learn new tricks, both in terms of gameplay and visuals. Whatever happens though, these are still fantastic games, and it’s great when new life can be breathed into them thanks to a loving remaster. Some are necessary, some aren’t, but we believe these are the best of the bunch this year.
L.A. Noire Remastered
L.A. Noire wasn’t exactly the next game we were expecting Rockstar to remaster but they’ve ended up going above and beyond. Aside from arriving on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with 4K support, it’s also been joined by LA Noire: The VR Case Files, allowing several of the game’s cases to be played using HTC Vive, adding an unprecedented new layer of immersion to the detective sim.
