Treyarch took a big gamble when Black Ops 4 was announced. For the first time in a history, a Call of Duty game was coming without a tentpole single-player campaign to hang it on. Despite its leaner nature that hasn’t stopped COD: BLOPS 4 from winning over our hearts though, not least because of the incredible Blackout battle royale mode.

Firewall: Zero Hour
VR has been in the doldrums a little this last year, but Firewall Zero Hour signaled a second lease of life for the format, particularly for PSVR. Borrowing much from Rainbow Six Siege’s tense, tactical combat, Firewall Zero Hour is about as immersive as multiplayer shooters get. Experience the disorienting pop of a flashbang, physically lean over desks and around corners, and use the Aim control for true first-person combat.
