Hey guys i'm planning to buy a new Xbox 360 Wireless controller and in case i'v also borrowed a wired controller from my cousin to test my game play on controller but it seems its not working, whenever i plug in into my PC a USB connection sound appears but nothing happens, i'd installed every driver and everything is up to dated but nothing works, just the green light of controller keeps on blinking from all sides, i'v also tried many fixes but in device manager my Controller even not appears...
I seriously need to play games on that controller to exact my aim to defeat Free-For-All Mach to my cousins which are Real Rascals COD Players on their Xbox -_-

If you are using a wireless controller it won't work with the pc. The plug and play controller does not send signals it just charges the battery. You need a wired controller, go for an afterglow controller as they are pretty cheap and work on the pc.

Try a different USB port? Mine usually starts flashing when my PC falls asleep, but the controller still works and re-plugging it usually fixes the flashing.

I don't know... I guess it should, as long as the receiver is still plugged into the PC.

a wireless x360 controller needs the x360 wireless receiver when using with PC- the cable is just to change the battery - also - the wired controller has to be PC compatible there were some none PC compatible ones but all the new ones should work with PC and x360.
