The new AMD FirePro ™ W9100 graphics card industry first made 16GB GDDR5 ultra-fast memory, over 2 TFLOPS of computer performance in double precision, and 4K multi-display support that professionals need to shift the boundaries of what is possible today.
AMD today launched the AMD FirePro ™ W9100 professional graphics card designed for the next generation of 4K workstations Accelerated OpenCL ™-ready (Open Computing Language). With the most advanced graphics, with up to 2.62 TFLOPS industry-leading GPU computing power in the calculation of double-precision capabilities and multi-monitor configurations, the monitor ultra-high resolution (4K), professionals in video processing, design and engineering can now carry out their duties with the entirely new level of detail, speed, responsiveness and creativity.
Now, for the first time in the industry with 16GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory workstation users can efficiently perform multiple tasks at up to six 4K monitors, are able to load huge circuits and data structures that efficiently manipulate them, to edit, perform color correction and creating a greater number of layers with a number of effects on the 4K video projects, all in real time. Driven by the latest AMD Graphics Core Next architecture, the AMD FirePro W9100 creative professionals offers a super computer class performance in a single GPU.
Gaming on this GPU: wordless
As my friend AUNTARIE says who is absolutely right : Gaming on this GPU will leave you wordless, but not because it'll give terrific performance. It doesn't have driver support for games, so even if they run on this GPU, the results will be disappointing, especially for the high price I'm expecting :D
