I hate my rig. I've got custom loop but can't overclock cpu more than 4.1ghz because it's non k version :( FML

if you asked anyone on GD before purchase, we'd tell you only "K" Intel cpus are overclockable :)

I took this out from pre-built pc so I couldn't do anything about it. I can clearly see that you don't know so much about it. Read on overclock.net and you can see that non k cpu's are overclockable but not as much as K version. In fact mine is overclocked. Need proof? I can always take a screenshot :)

then you'd be surprised, I had my old i3-2130 overclocked to 3.5GHz years ago :))
your mild OC is most likely because of rised bus speed (=bclk) to something like 103MHz (which I did) which gives you with locked multiplier few hundred MHz in result, let's say 103x39=4GHz which is less than 5% improvement, so you'd better recalculate your GD rig overclock :P

Nope :P I actually don't use bclk to overclock my cpu. I've got msi z77 mpower board and I don't need to rise bclk at all. I just adjust multiplier which is NOT locked. I can adjust it up to 4.3 but I run 4.1 on all cores instead of. And plus if I touch bclk like I did before, I can get up to 4.4 - 4.5 ish on my cpu :)

they seem reasonable to me. exactly what i would have expected. no discrepancies or weird GPU-CPU pairs or nvidia-amd pairs. hope i can pull 45+ fps on my resolution and medium settings :)

Hmm weird brand pairs are still there in my opinion. Gtx770 and R9290 is absolutelly a better trade for Nvidia and Phenom II 940 + 2500k for AMD :D

Atleast it will be a consisted framerare (quite sure of that), unlike the recent Ubisoft games.

by that time I might have new rig, but I'm looking forward to push that game at my lil' itx beast and dominate 1440p :))
btw those requirements just prove my theory that well-developed game shall have recommended requirements of relatively high-end hardware of time when leveldesign development started (GTX770 is almost like GTX680 and 3770 was introduced in half of 2012)
