Hi there,

on this blog I would like to post mainly DIY projects focused on technical/electrical aspects. But before I start - my question to you - would anyone actually read such posts on game-based website?

Here are topics which I'm about to post:

Build your own 10W or 20W thermoelectric generator

Building your own solar plant

Understanding PWM, it's drawbacks and advantages

Li-Ion cells in action - quick look at Panasonic NCR technology

Rewire your headphones with pro-grade cable

Balanced vs. unbalanced headphones - audible difference or myth?

Let me know. I'm sure most people here aren't JUST gamers :D

My country cannot provide enough electricity (load shedding) so we hooked a 4000w diesel generator to the house with a main/off/generator switch and a light which is connected to the mains so when power is restored the light turns on and alerts us we can turn off the generator. The noise of that thing is 96db and is air cooled, so we built custom box around the generator to dampen the noise, and another box outside with air extraction unit and exhaust to dampen the outside noise. Last thing to do is find a muffler from a bike or scooter to further dampen the noise. This was my project on sat

PWM article would be cool,
rewiring headphones yes too, balanced vs unbalanced you could cover it in general and not just for headphones :D

Thanks for the feedback! For starters, the topics will cover more of audio stuff and less DIY, but I get to that full-time eventually.
