Written by: Starjack25 - 01:15 Aug-11-2015

Hi guys, although i'm enjoying Windows 10 on my system, there is one thing that have been bothering me for the past day or so. I notice in the Task Manager, the System (NT Kernel & System) process is using up large amount of memory.

When i googled it, it have other people who experienced the same problem also under Windows 10.

Have any of you experience the similar problem under Windows 10?

I don't think so. I just checked that in my Windows 7 and it only eats 2 KB of RAM :D It's probably something else that causes it to eat so much.

I found out which service was using high usage, press windows+r and type services.msc and search for superfetch and disable it and watch the task manager the usage will slow down in my case it was 50 mem usage and it went down to 32

I don't think that address the problem. There'll be times that it would go down even with superfetch turn on or left off, although on my system it seems to use between 160MB to 190MB of memory.

I did read in superuser.com, that somebody did ask Microsoft about this problem and Microsoft did reply to him that it was design to do that. It is related to something call System Memory compression. Microsoft also informed him that they would published a blog soon on this.
