610m vs Battlefront Beta
Written by: captaingunny - 04:45 Oct-17-2015

This will just be a simple blog stating how well I ran Star Wars: Battlefront.

These benchmarks are from all 3 game modes and I kinda forget which ones go to which game mode.

Frames: 527   - Time: 37487ms -   Avg: 14.058 -  Min: 10 - Max: 18

Frames: 1710 - Time: 129309ms - Avg: 13.224 -  Min: 8   - Max: 22

Frames: 1268 - Time: 118155ms - Avg: 10.732 -  Min: 6   - Max: 15

Frames: 28     - Time: 2839ms     - Avg: 9.863   -  Min: 9   - Max: 10

Frames: 974   - Time: 93242ms   - Avg: 10.446 -  Min: 0   - Max: 17

Frames: 1978 - Time: 138467ms - Avg: 14.285 -  Min: 0   - Max: 24

                                                      Avg total: 12 FPS

As you can see, it ain't pretty. These were done with the latest drivers for the beta of Star Wars: Battlefront. Maybe it'd be better optimized on launch? But, I suppose it doesn't really matter as this was nothing near 30 frames per second.

The as you can see the 610m is really falling behind in games, respectively. The same would go for the Intel HD 4000 which performs similarly to the 610m.

This was definitely worth it to download 10GB and then delete it.

Perhaps you should force gaming at 1024x768?

Probs wouldn't make to much of a difference. Anyways, I hope to build a computer soon.

I think it would increase FPS by 10% seeing as the Graphics Card has really low memory performance...
