I wanted to buy the xfx gtr after checking JayTwoCents youtube video, but after a friend of mine having problems with the xfx RS model. I decided to go with the MSI one.

I can't recommend the MSI gaming model enough! It runs cool (50ºC full load at 50% fan speed) and really quiet. Even with my OC! (53ºC)

Keep in mind, 1 bad card does not mean they're all bad, check out reviews and you'll see that all of the XFX cards have an overall positive tone, whereas the Gigabyte has the opposite(it just runs too hot).... so I wouldn't base my decision on a fluke.

Yes I know buddy, I don't have anything against XFX... They make really high quality products. I'm just really happy with how MSI made their latest cooler design (both on AMD and NVIDIA). You're 100% right on the gigabyte model though.

If the XFX Black edition is available, that would be my first choice, assuming you can get it for a good price, failing that, the Sapphire Nitro or Powercolor Red Devil would be my two choices..... I'm not going to say avoid the Gigabyte, but do look at some reviews first, seems to have a bad cooler.

The Powercolor Red Dragon is a decent card I think, for the price, but it's definitely lacking in features compared to XFX Black, Sapphire Nitro and PC Reddevil.

I will add the XFX to the poll.
If you want I can restart the poll so you can give your votes again.

Also, you have some of the core clocks wrong... with boost, it's as follows.
PC Red Dragon - 1266
Gigabyte G1 - 1290
PC RedDevil - 1330
Sapphire Nitro+ - 1306
MSI gaming X - 1303
XFX Black - 1328

I have left out the boost clocks since I couldn't always find them.

I also forgot to mention that XFX has a lower priced version of the same design that has all the same features, but lower core clock than its Black edition.
