Up For Debate - What is really happening to Assassin's Creed Franchise?
Written by: thewizerd - 14:50 Aug-02-2018

What really happening to assassin's creed now? it's now in another track, RPG Track , represented in a new game in the franchise coming this year called Assassin's Creed Odyssey, this game will represent multiple character choice that affect the story, two different character to choose(kassandra and alexios) , the game will be set in Ancient Greece , the most ancient game in the serie.

But are everyone satisfied with the new change of AC? for me : no.

The taste of the franchise is getting disappeared , since the Great Assassin's Creed 2 , the Great character Ezio, the best game in the franchise that delivered beautiful story, setting, soundtrack and many more.... but now : a mix of the witcher 3 and ryse son of rome, seriously Ubisoft?

Assassin's creed Origins was a good game, AC IV black flag was even better , but an assassin's creed game? not sure, we want a story focus game and well made character , but now only focus on online and MTX , and that's what really is happening to games now not only AC.

Give us your opinions guys? do you expect anything good in AC Odyssey?

Well to be honest historically Assassin's(hashashin) were not stealthy, they killed in broad daylight in front of big crowds to make a point and make their presence known… So RPG makes more sense, but I do enjoy the pre-Origins stealth mechanics of AC and the previous games, even though I haven't still played Origins though.

I'd like both to be honest, or mixture of both to be honest.

The story of the ezio franchise, 3 and 4 were great but the game felt a little dull, in the ezio ones you were limited in terms of gameplay, it was just the story and while progressing you unlock new items which is cool but you dont feel as rewarded as you would feel with origins where you had to work to get it, obviously also the mad customization, but i really liked origins' story, i like both styles, but i do think that the stealth style would fit more, but they wouldnt have added all these features without having a full blown rpg

I think this RPG style fits the setting of this game, just imagine, a spartan trying to sneak behind an enemy and kill him without making noise?, spartans werent meant to be precisely ninjas xD.
