My thoughts on Diablo 3 (Nintendo Switch)
Written by: PCEGamer - 02:22 Mar-07-2019

So after a week of playing Diablo 2, I felt that I've had a good amount of experience and gest of why this game is a gem! I ordered Diablo 3 through Amazon for the Nintendo Switch because I couldn't think of anything more awesome than D3 on the go. And holy damn, was I sucked in! The visuals, in contrast, are an awesome fresh sight, combat is great and smoother. The control scheme is different obviously, going from M&KB to a gamepad. Nonetheless, it felt surprisingly well, action buttons are convenient, easy to remember and can get some great combos done regardless.

The storyline is kinda bad if I'm being honest, some voice actors having cringy lines or mundane lines/ story-telling that just makes your eyes roll back. The storyline just isn't grasping like the 2nd game. Though, I think it's neat that all characters have their own personalities, views, and input in Sanctuary(the world). It's very disappointing that the story was such a lacking factor. In addition, I've read online forums that maps feel more narrow and dungeons aren't as complex, which I'm not entirely sure about that. But I'll admit some parts did feel a bit cramped, but then again I'm a level 18 Necromancer with Skeleton Mages (7), and Command Skeletons, five can be temporarily spawned. That plus my follower. So yeah, some dungeons do feel very cramped. But I've crawled a few dungeons lasting a reasonable time in them (if you're 100% clearing it). So for me, it's fair.

Ultimately, The loot, CO-OP, and Art-style of the game are what intrigues me most! Characters and loot, hands down are the biggest qualities in the game. I will be digging many hours into this! Here are some screenshots I took off the Switch. Sorry if the images look blurry, for some reason GD struggles to upload native resolution.

The images can't be enlarged ? I'm not sure how GD works here but I can barely see the text on a 21.5" 1080p display.

If I try to enlarge the images it becomes much blurrier. The native resolution for the image is 1280x720; GD gives me an error message: "Image too large". Not sure if its referring to file size or resolution. But either way, I have to significantly downscale it on Paint in order to fit it.

Yeah, I meant as a user I can't click it to enlarge in a pop-up window, as is an option in some websites. Would be a cool feature
