ASUS P5G41T-MLX supported memory

Hi guys,

as the title say what is the supported memory for this motherboard in offical site they say ddr3 : 800,1066 and 1333 OC so i was wondering will it support ddr3 1600 pc3 12800 or not

and what make it worse that in some sites they say it will and other say it won't so iam so confused and need ur help as i will get the MB and ram today or tommorow also any 1 have this mobo plz inform me , i really need help

if u put a 1600 mhz ram,it will downgrade and work on 1333 mhz fine

thx buddy , that's why i picked 1600 mhz to give me headroom in OC as it will be working in rated speed . my old 2 gig stick was 667mhz and i oc to 880 -900 mhz and that was huge for it

I guess you can put higher-freq memory sticks, but they'll be underlocked automatically
*I'm not sure, I guess as I said...

and that is what i hope for , as i will change the MB and CPU in next year so it will be nice to have fast ram for new cpu but no 1 have a clear answer :(

tzzsmk is absolutely right, that RAM will work but with a lower frequency ;)

and what ram do you have NOW ?
because you might buy new CPU sooner than new RAM....

at this moment a 2 gig ddr2 666 mhz but i will get the MB and ram and the gtx 660 gpu and new monitor as i said today or tom. and thats why iam in hurry :)
