My rigs history!
Written by: BananaBlaster2019 - 15:53 Jun-17-2013

Once upon a time, when i was kid, like 4 years old, i got my first rig. I was ultra happy. Some specs of it:

1. Rig: (2004-2006)
CPU: i remember it was Pentium III, don't know exactly
GFX: Like i knew what GFX is when i was 4
RAM: 256 MB
HDD: 6GB
OS: Windows 95 or 98, don't remember...

Then i upgraded:

2. Rig: (2006- March 2013)

CPU: Celeron 2.8 GHz
GFX: NVidia GeForce 6200
RAM: 1GB
HDD: 150GB
OS Windows XP Professienal

Suddenly, my GFX died after only 7 years of using and my dad bought this:

3. Rig: (March 2013)

CPU: Celeron 2.8 GHz
GFX: Intel (Oh God, why) GM41 Chipset
RAM: 2GB DDR3
HDD: 150GB
OS Windows 7 Ultimate

But soon, i will buy totally new rig.
Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz quad-core
GFX: NVidia GeForce GTX 650Ti Gigabyte OC 1GB GDDR5
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz
HDD: 1TB 7200 RPM
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

PS: This is my first blog ;)

Gefroce 7600GT 512MB
1GB RAM
2010-2012
Intel Core i3 550 3.2ghz
Nvidia GT430 1GB
2GB DDR3 RAM
2012-2013
Intel Core i7 3770 3.4ghz
16GB DDR3 RAM
GT440 few months later GTX650

Cool! Always i take a look to history someone's rig, i question myself: From single core 500MHz CPUs to Multiple cores (usually 4, sometimes 6 or 8 or even more) 3GHz in just about 10 Years. And then i think of what will our CPUs look in another 10 years. I wonder if it'll be like:
-Hey man! See my new i17 CPU. It's 13GHz and has 12 Cores
-Naah man, you still can't Max out BF6. Your old GTX 980 is bottlenecking you. You should buy another GPU, and make sure it has at least 8GB of GDDR7. :D

Your rig you have now is really good, unlike my Intel GM41 and Celeron 2.8 GHz :D

Technology improvements :D But improvement has disadvantages: You can't warm up your legs in microvave... Now, 4yr olds have facebook profiles... I can't even imagine what will be with future generations :/

Yeah, before Pentium there were 486, 386, 286... :D The number meant how much MHz CPU had :D These were monsters back in about 1995 :D I am too young to know much about old hardware :/
