Choosing A Graphics Card For Our 1080p MotoGP 15 PC Build

When putting this sort of PC together we want great value for money but a machine that can deliver solid FPS on MotoGP 15 at 1080p ultra graphics. We have selected the Radeon RX 580 XFX GTR XXX 8GB today as a well placed option. The price for this card today is $164.99 which really helped mark it as a good fit.For reference, our lowest tracked price for this graphics card was on 28th Dec 2019 and it was priced at $159. We have seen this card drop its price recently by $14.01 which is part of the reason it has been slotted in to this build.

Selecting The Right MotoGP 15 1080p Motherboard and CPU

To accompany the graphics option we have put a compatible motherboard into the build. The ASRock Intel B365 ATX LGA1151 motherboard in turn enables us to add the Core i5-9400F 6-Core 2.9GHz processor that has the LGA 1151 socket. This CPU is a great fit for MotoGP 15 and balances nicely with the Radeon RX 580 XFX GTR XXX 8GB, to help reach the right frame rates at this resolution. We have of course chosen this CPU today because of its price to performance credentials where it is currently priced at $167.87. A low end price for this CPU would be $119.99, which we saw it priced at on 16th Mar 2020.

The awesome ASRock Intel B365 ATX LGA1151 is highly competitive, priced at $72.99, which provides it a position today in this gamer build. To offer motherboard pricing insight we spotted this being sold for a low price of $59.99, which was recorded at 4th Apr 2020.

How To Choose The Best RAM For MotoGP 15 At The Right Price

To make sure we meet the MotoGP 15 system requirements and to help us achieve the required FPS for Ultra at 1080p we have chosen the Patriot Viper Steel Series 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz, which is todays best priced system memory. It is priced at $42.99 and compliments the CPU and GPU nicely. This RAM was recorded at the lowest price of $59.99, and this was on 29th Nov 2019.

PC Performance Review at 1080p Ultra Settings on MotoGP 15

A PC build like this can expect to get an average of 83 FPS on High settings in MotoGP 15 at 1080p. There may be some lower frame rates in some parts of the game, but we have chosen the components to get some solid frame rates. Increasing the quality in the game to Ultra, will see us still getting an FPS of 60.

If we are looking for some larger screen resolutions with this computer, then MotoGP 15 would return 45 FPS on 1440p at Ultra graphics setting. This FPS would improve to 64 FPS average at High settings.

How this build performs for other popular games

It’s worth taking into consideration how our MotoGP 15 PC build handles other games. We’ll do this by looking at the current popular titles Days Gone, Forza Horizon 5 and Back 4 Blood. Starting with Days Gone we can see that at 1080p we are likely to see 60FPS on Ultra and 83FPS on High graphics settings. Alternatively we see Forza Horizon 5 likely to achieve 60FPS on Ultra and 83FPS when reduced to High. Finally with Back 4 Blood at Ultra setting we can expect 60 FPS, raising to 83 FPS on High graphics settings.

An Alternative MotoGP 15 Graphics Card Option for 1080p

Not everyone is interested in going with a AMD card, like the one we have opted for in this build. So you could try going for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Asus Phoenix 6GB instead, which comes with a 4% better performance adjustment when compared to Radeon RX 580 XFX GTR XXX 8GB, and is certainly a solid video card choice for our build. We selected it while also considering its current price point, it is costing $219.99 at the moment.
