If you are wanting to buy a gaming computer to run Battlefield 4 then this PC build review is aimed at putting together the correct hardware components for the cheapest price today to do just that. Choosing A Graphics Card For Our 1080p Battlefield 4 PC Build

Choosing the graphics card needs to be done correctly and as we are putting together a gamer PC build for Battlefield 4 at 1080p ultra graphics we want something with the best price today while returning the best performance for that price. This has led us to the Radeon RX 550X 4GB, which has a good price at the moment, as its currently priced at $99.88. And with that in mind the Radeon RX 550X 4GB is a great match for Battlefield 4 at 1080p ultra. It will certainly help us get good FPS. we will highlight those FPS in more detail later in this article. Over the last few weeks we have noticed it increase its price by $99.88, proving that additional savings can be found you will just need to shop around.

Our graphics card will need 3GB of VRAM built into it to act as a suitable buffer between our video card and chosen CPU. This graphics card has 4GB which will be plenty for this game at this resolution.

To accompany the graphics option we have put a compatible motherboard into the build. The GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 motherboard in turn enables us to add the Ryzen 3 3200G processor that has the Socket AM4 socket. This CPU is a great fit for Battlefield 4 and balances nicely with the Radeon RX 550X 4GB, to help reach the right frame rates at this resolution. We have of course chosen this CPU today because of its price to performance credentials where it is currently priced at $193.74. A good reference point is, a low price for this processor was spotted on 17th Jun 2020 where we saw it for $83.59.

Today the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 competitively costs $59.99, which provides it a place in our build today. The cheapest motherboard price for the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 was recorded as $51.88, which was on 18th Feb 2021.

How To Choose The Best RAM For Battlefield 4 At The Right Price

Our PC needs some well placed system memory to support our chosen CPU and GPU selections. As we are looking to achieve the 1080p ultra frame rates the Patriot Viper Steel Series 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz is currently priced at $42.99, which is among the better priced RAM today. A price point for this RAM was down to $30.35 on 29th Nov 2019.
