Choosing A Graphics Card For Our 1080p Witchfire PC Build

Lets not pay over the odds when we put this game’s graphics card in. We want something that can play Witchfire at 1080p ultra graphics options and we want something that has a reasonable price compared to the other graphics options. The Radeon RX 580 XFX GTR XXX 8GB has been looking like a good stand in for this games curated PC build, based on the price of $164.99 that we found it marked at today. It will certainly help return suitable FPS, which we will go into a bit later in the article, at ultra 1080p. Out of interest our lowest price tracked on this graphics card was on 28th Dec 2019 where we saw it for $159. Looking a little deeper at this cards pricing history shows this card has seen a drop in its price by $14.01 over the last two weeks.

Selecting The Right Witchfire 1080p Motherboard and CPU

To accompany the graphics option we have put a compatible motherboard into the build. The ASRock Intel B365 ATX LGA1151 motherboard in turn enables us to add the Core i5-9400F 6-Core 2.9GHz processor that has the LGA 1151 socket. This CPU is a great fit for Witchfire and balances nicely with the Radeon RX 580 XFX GTR XXX 8GB, to help reach the right frame rates at this resolution. We have of course chosen this CPU today because of its price to performance credentials where it is currently priced at $167.87. Looking through our data we can see the lowest price for this cpu was on 16th Mar 2020, which had it marked up at $119.99.

The awesome ASRock Intel B365 ATX LGA1151 is highly competitive, priced at $72.99, which provides it a position today in this gamer build. This motherboard was priced at $59.99, which we saw on 4th Apr 2020. While monitoring prices this is the lowest we have seen it at.

How To Choose The Best RAM For Witchfire At The Right Price

This is part of the gamers 3 core hardware components. Our Witchfire built PC will need a correct amount of RAM while being found for the best price today. We have found the Patriot Viper Steel Series 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz to be well priced at $42.99 and will complement the Radeon RX 580 XFX GTR XXX 8GB and Core i5-9400F 6-Core 2.9GHz selections of our build, helping us to achieve the desired FPS at 1080p ultra settings. A price point for this RAM was down to $30.35 on 29th Nov 2019.

PC Performance Review at 1080p Ultra Settings on Witchfire

With our key performance components in place we are expecting to see this setup running Witchfire at around 64 average frames per second, on 1080p screen resolution. This should be achieved on ultra graphics settings. If you turn a few graphics options down we expect around 89 FPS at high graphics.

Selecting A High Performance Mouse For Witchfire

Selecting the right mouse for a game like Witchfire has encouraged us to increase the quality of the mouse we would add to our build. As the game sits in the , Shooter genre list we felt that the Cooler Master MM710 mouse is today’s best priced but higher performing gaming mouse for this particular computer setup.

Witchfire Benefits From a High Quality Audio Headset

This title’s genre, , Shooter, made us want to find a headset that can really capitalise on the higher audio demands the game can deliver. We therefore selected the headset from a better group of peripherals, while still looking for the best value headset. We have chosen the Logitech G635 7.1 for its clear audio and great price today. If you wish to find cheaper or better quality headsphones then use our selection list above to see some other headsets that we have found that represent good value gaming audio today.

An Alternative Witchfire Graphics Card Option for 1080p

Not everyone is a fan of team AMD, so if you are after a GPU from the other side then perhaps take a look at our suggested Nvidia card, the GeForce GTX 1660 Asus Phoenix 6GB. It is placed at 4% better performance difference and certainly capable of delivering up Witchfire frames on a par with our primary GPU selection. We have also selected it based on its price today, which finds it at $219.99.
