Our challenge is not overpaying for hardware we dont need, but making sure we get enough performance from our system that we can play Matter at 1080p ultra settings. Reviewing all the prices today our choice for best graphics card for this title points us squarely at the GeForce GTX 1660 Asus Phoenix 6GB. It is capable of delivering suitable frame rates at ultra 1080p. Out of interest our lowest price tracked on this graphics card was on 31st Jan 2020 where we saw it for $219.99. With a price of $219.99 today its certainly very competitive, considering the performance this gpu can return.

This build will need to have at least 4GB of VRAM onboard the graphics card, to act as an image data store between the GPU and CPU. Our selected builds graphics card has 6GB, which is plenty for getting suitable gaming at this resolution.
