Our objective here is to enable us to explore what PC we could buy that can play Battlefield 6, where we carefully find the right hardware components that can run Battlefield 6 and meet its gaming needs while also heavily factoring in today’s best hardware component prices. And so our expectations are that this game will confidently run at the highest graphics settings, viewed through a 1080p monitor resolution. We visit this page every day to check on the prices and selected components we have added for this PC build. Naturally as new better hardware is found we will be adding and swapping to optimise this list with a view to giving us all a good jumping off point regarding expected build quality and pricing levels for our new Battlefield 6 build.

Let’s consider some of the interesting characteristics about this game, to help us build something that matches the sort of game we are considering to build a PC for. As we know it comes under the , Shooter, Action, 1st Person genre style categories, which may well influence some of our peripheral selections, ensuring we consider the specifics for the games requirements. Looking at its development the game was built during 2023 and around that period and the devs themselves probably had hardware comparable to some of the latest hardware of that period. The devs have created the game using the Frostbite platform. In terms of its relative hardware demanding position, it is considered by us as 1 placed game on our most demanding games of today list at least at the moment, although that list shifts regularly. Obviously these points help give us a better picture of what we may want in the build, but they are only supporting us because when we choose, it is the best priced components that will find their way into this build today.

Choosing A Graphics Card For Our 1080p Battlefield 6 PC Build

Not wanting to pay over the odds for hardware we dont actually need, is a gamers primary objective when building their next PC. But obviously in this specific PC build we want to ensure enough we choose something with enough performance capability to run Battlefield 6 at 1080p ultra graphics options. We have taken a look at a whole bunch of graphics card prices today and compared them to the hardware’s gaming performance and our choice for this game is the Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI Evoke OC 8GB. We will get into its expected FPS for this game a bit later in the article, but for now we know it will deliver reliable frame rates at ultra 1080p. Out of interest our lowest price tracked on this graphics card was on 6th Dec 2019 where we saw it for $376.05. Todays price is $397.99 which is why we have identified it as a competitive performance to price ratio compared to other hardware in the marketplace today. Exploring the price trends for this card shows us it has increased its price by $9.91 over the past two weeks, so perhaps there is still deals that can be found on this card.

Our PC build has 8GB of onboard card memory to act as an image data store between the GPU and CPU. At this resolution the game will need at least 8GB of VRAM from our PC build. So with the selected Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI Evoke OC 8GB we have met that graphical requirement.

Selecting The Right Battlefield 6 1080p Motherboard and CPU

Finding a cpu is largely dependent on the right motherboard. The CPU we are going to choose has the Socket AM4 socket type. So we have found the best priced and well featured mobo in the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4. The Ryzen 5 2600X 6-Core 3.6GHz processor will then fit in and accompany our Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI Evoke OC 8GB selection nicely, with the cpu being at a great price point, costing $199.99. A low end price for this CPU would be $119.99, which we saw it priced at on 28th Nov 2019.

Chosen for price point, socket type and feature list, the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 has a cost today of $59.99. A low recorded price for this motherboard was spotted on 18th Feb 2021 where it was $51.88.
