Lets not pay over the odds when we put this game’s graphics card in. We want something that can play Teardown at 1080p ultra graphics options and we want something that has a reasonable price compared to the other graphics options. The GeForce RTX 2080 Asus Dual OC 8GB has been looking like a good stand in for this games curated PC build, based on the price of $529.99 that we found it marked at today. It will certainly help return suitable FPS, which we will go into a bit later in the article, at ultra 1080p. Selecting The Right Teardown 1080p Motherboard and CPU

The motherboard we are going for is the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4. Looking over the prices today we can see that the Ryzen 5 2600X 6-Core 3.6GHz processor is a great choice for this game and is currently costing $197.95. How To Choose The Best RAM For Teardown At The Right Price

Our Teardown built PC needs some solid performing RAM to enable us to meet the game’s system requirement expectations and achieve the desired FPS at ultra 1080p. The Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 2666MHz is capable of meeting those needs, while complementing the Ryzen 5 2600X 6-Core 3.6GHz and GeForce RTX 2080 Asus Dual OC 8GB of our build and priced at a reasonable $32.99. We looked through our records and saw that the RAM prices on 2nd Feb 2020, represented a low price point $29.49. Which gives us an indication of how things sit today with the RAM price

PC Performance Review at 1080p Ultra Settings on Teardown

Other Popular Game 1080p Ultra Custom PC Builds

We expect Teardown would also run in higher screen resolutions but this would be 47 FPS average, at 1440p Ultra. We would see an improvement of frame rates if we tweaked the 1440p graphics options to be around the High preset graphics option, which would then return 65 FPS.

How this build performs for other popular games

To get a more general understanding of how our PC build for Teardown performs we can look in to how it copes with some of the more popular games of today at 1080p. To begin we see that Far Cry 6 is expected to achieve 56FPS on Ultra and 78FPS on High graphics settings. Next up looking at Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War we would find 99FPS on Ultra raising to 139FPS at High. For our last comparison, eFootball PES 2021, we would likely achieve 165 FPS on Ultra and 200+ FPS on High graphics settings.

Selecting A High Performance Mouse For Teardown

The Action, Sim, Strategy genre means that we would be looking for our build’s mouse selection to be of higher quality than normal, so we have chosen the Cooler Master MM710 as the best mouse option based on today’s prices versus gamer quality.

An Alternative Teardown Graphics Card Option for 1080p

The AMD option for this build would be the 8% worse performance difference Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI Evoke OC 8GB graphics card and certainly a viable choice for Teardown. We considered this alternative graphics solution because it was also the best price point in this performance range. It is priced at $397.99 today.
