Final Upgrade 1080p Ultra Custom PC Build Review

Prices and hardware reviewed and updated: 18th Sep 2020

If you are asking yourself, what hardware components should I buy for my next PC so it can run Final Upgrade then that is exactly what we will be doing in this review. Our challenge is in choosing the right priced PC items to get together an optimum build, which can meet the needs of Final Upgrade. With the PC build brief being to maintain a stable and reliable FPS on ultra graphics settings, running 1080p as the native screen size. These prices are are checked multiple times each day and we update the build if other hardware is better value for money, while still meeting our gaming hardware standards.

First off, to help us pull together the best hardware for this build, we have to understand a little bit about the type of game we are creating this computer for. Final Upgrade is a title which sits in the Sim, Strategy genre categories, which may influence our peripheral selection a bit, to help accommodate some of the particular requirements there. This game would have also been built on PC hardware during 2020 and before, which can suggest the sort of specced components a developer might have been using and hoping for their game to run on. Today we find it is not currently in our top most demanding games list and currently not figuring in our more popular games. While this extra info gives a good sense of what we want from our PC, nothing really replaces our value for money assessment based on live prices, when putting together this build.

Selecting A High Performance Mouse For Final Upgrade

As Final Upgrade falls into the Sim, Strategy genre group, we have chosen to increase the quality of the mouse we are adding to our PC to help better meet the needs of the game. We have opted for the Cooler Master MM710, where this particular mouse is currently today’s best price but a more high performing gamer mouse than some of the other mice we normally choose in our builds.

An Alternative Final Upgrade Graphics Card Option for 1080p

If you are looking for a graphics card from Nvidia instead of the one we have selected in this build then you could try GeForce GTX 2050 Ti 4GB, which has a 8% worse performance difference, so still similar capabilities. We have chosen it based on its price-performance figure as well, as it is currently priced at $139.99.
