Our objective here is to enable us to explore what PC we could buy that can play Base One, where we carefully find the right hardware components that can run Base One and meet its gaming needs while also heavily factoring in today’s best hardware component prices. In doing this we keep in mind our need to deliver the game reliably on ultra graphics settings, viewed through a 1440p monitor resolution. These hardware items found in our build will continue to have their prices checked and components will be swapped in and out as we feel better hardware for our build is released.

When building a PC for a particular type of game we can get a better picture when we consider a few of the game’s specific characteristics. This PC title falls into the following , Sim, Management genre grouping categories, which has been considered when selecting out the best priced components for this build, as we want to make sure the game’s specifics are catered for. . Not wanting to pay over the odds for hardware we dont actually need, is a gamers primary objective when building their next PC. But obviously in this specific PC build we want to ensure enough we choose something with enough performance capability to run Base One at 1440p ultra graphics options. We have taken a look at a whole bunch of graphics card prices today and compared them to the hardware’s gaming performance and our choice for this game is the GeForce RTX 2070 Asus Dual Advanced 8GB. We will get into its expected FPS for this game a bit later in the article, but for now we know it will deliver reliable frame rates at ultra 1440p. A PC build like this can expect to get an average of 72 FPS on High settings in Base One at 1440p. There may be some lower frame rates in some parts of the game, but we have chosen the components to get some solid frame rates. Increasing the quality in the game to Ultra, will see us still getting an FPS of 51.
