Choosing A Graphics Card For Our 1440p Ragnarock PC Build

Lets not pay over the odds when we put this game’s graphics card in. We want something that can play Ragnarock at 1440p ultra graphics options and we want something that has a reasonable price compared to the other graphics options. The Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI Evoke OC 8GB has been looking like a good stand in for this games curated PC build, based on the price of $397.99 that we found it marked at today. It will certainly help return suitable FPS, which we will go into a bit later in the article, at ultra 1440p. Checking our records our lowest tracked price for this card was on 6th Dec 2019 which had it priced at $376.05. Its price over the past couple of weeks has increased a bit by $9.91, which makes us think additional savings can be made here if you shop around.

We also want the graphics card to have at least 8GB VRAM onboard. The video card in this build has 8 which will act as a good data buffer between the processor and the graphics hardware.

Selecting The Right Ragnarock 1440p Motherboard and CPU

To fit with the above graphics card we have chosen a well priced motherboard, the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4, that will allow us to slot in a compatible Ryzen 5 2600X 6-Core 3.6GHz processor based around the shared Socket AM4 socket. With the chosen cpu and gpu working together we will get a great Ragnarock experience, that helps achieve steady frames at this resolution. The chosen cpu has itself been selected because it represents a good fit with the game and the price we found it at when comparing today’s cpu market prices, finding it currently priced at $199.99. A good reference point is, a low price for this processor was spotted on 28th Nov 2019 where we saw it for $119.99.

With the feature rich GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 priced competitively at $59.99 it is certainly in todays Ragnarock build for a good reason. A low recorded price for this motherboard was spotted on 18th Feb 2021 where it was $51.88.

How To Choose The Best RAM For Ragnarock At The Right Price

Researching the correct system memory for our build means we need it to meet Ragnarock requirements, with a view to running reliable FPS at Ultra settings leads us to Patriot Viper Steel Series 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz. Today it is one of the best priced RAM options at $42.99 and will certainly support the CPU and GPU well. Our RAM recorded prices put this Patriot Viper Steel Series 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz price at $30.35 on 29th Nov 2019.
