Gameplay is based around that of other block-breaking games such as Breakout, Arkanoid and Ricochet Infinity, the latter from which it borrows many features. The game area consists of a paddle, a ball and field of blocks. To clear a level, the player must destroy all of the blocks. In Shatter, this is most commonly done by guiding the ball into them but blocks can also be destroyed using the Shard Storm power-up, or by hitting the blocks with the paddle its self.
Your PC will need a graphics card thats as powerful as a GeForce 6800 GT/Radeon 9800 Pro and it should be paired with either a Opteron 1210/Core 2 Duo P7500 1.6GHz CPU to match the Shatter recommended system specs. This PC setup will deliver 60 Frames Per Second on High graphics settings on 1080p monitor resolution. 1 GB will also be needed to achieve the Shatter rec specs and get 60FPS. Make sure your GPU can run DirectX 9 or Shatter won’t run. We suggest a 15 year old PC to play smoothly.
