Your PC will need a graphics card thats as powerful as a GeForce 7800 GT/Radeon HD 4650 1GB and it should be paired with either a Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5600+/Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz CPU to match the Trine 2 recommended system specs. This PC setup will deliver 60 Frames Per Second on High graphics settings on 1080p monitor resolution. System memory required for Trine 2 is 2 GB performance memory. You should also have 1 GB system memory for min specs. You will require a DirectX 9.00 GPU. Recommended needs around a 18 year old PC to run.

Definitely not. I max it out and I get 70 fps down to 50. Game is absolutely beautiful... I would expect that you can run on medium settings.

Unfortunately, your CPU and GPU both seem to fall below the minimum requirement. Sorry buddy, but I don't think you'll have a pleasant experience with this game :(
But what you can do, like I told some other guys on this thread, is download the demo from Steam and try it out. If it's playable, then awesome :D

Well, your GPU is more than capable to run the game. However, your CPU is marginally lower than the minimum requirement. What I recommend you should do is download the Trine 2 demo from Steam and see how it runs. If it runs well enough, then go for it. Hope that helps :)

You mean the refresh rate? I have it set to 60hz. But if even if I put everything at lowest settings and 480p, fraps still says 30fps.

How odd that no one replied to you till now.
I believe you erase the conjucted objects ingame by sickling on them with the Scrollwheel? (Mouse3, this could be adjustable in the options)

The game is playable on a laptop with a Core i3-M330 and a GeForce 310M (supposedly 74% weaker than the minimum) (obv not the rig on my profile). It occasionally stutters during "heavy" action but otherwise it plays fine on Low graphics, 1280*800px.

I think you may be able to run on low settings with playable frames, maybe even medium. Lower the resolution to 1024x768 and turn AA off. The CPU is the one dragging you down, you could squeeze a little bit performance by OC-ing.

What the heck? That's incredible! I mean, this game's so beautiful, and my PC can run it well! I thought it was going to be a high-specs game, but it's actually quite playable on my PC.
