multiplayer would run at 720p low settings with 20-30fps for sure, don't try to use some recording software ,because frame rate will drop to like 15fps. I wouldn't recommend to buy this game if you planing to play it on your pc..

If you currently own the game you might want to give it a shot, but purchasing the game would be risky. I've had a slightly better PC (e5200, HD 6450) and the game just barely ran, so I could imagine that your PC will have some serious problems. If you play on 16 player games, 800x600, and at low, you may be able to get 15-25 fps.

It should also be noted that Warface is far easier to run. E.g this game required 2GB RAM and Warface requires 1.5gb, along with several other hardware differences. Probably the only advantage of this game would be that it doesn't require as good of a CPU. This shouldn't matter much, however, because you are bottle-necked by your GPU.

Yes, he is correct. The game probably won't open, considering that 2gb is required and you have 1gb. You could possibly upgrade to 4GB, but considering that your PC will die soon, it might be worthy to consider a new PC. @Eduguy

It won't be wonderful but the game will open up at least. You can expect a frame rate around 18-35fps on low, 1680x1050, just be sure to stay away from 64 player games. AhmendBayern above says his GT 210 works well, so you should be good. Happy gaming!

I am currently running these specs: Intel Celeron Dual Core E3400 @2.6 Ghz
same GPU (GT 440)
2GB of ram
and I run the game just fine on low 800x600. (25-50ish FPS)

I wanted to know how much of an increase in FPS will i get with the C

At 800x600 with the Q6600/4GB RAM you can expect an extra 20 fps ontop of your 25-50ish. In other words, 45-70fps on low/600p. Also, after doing some more research, you may get 25-50fps @ 1050p because the GT 440 is actually better than I originally predicted.

30fps max dipping around 15.

That's odd. It should be giving you 17-45 fps on medium (at 1280x1024) during a 16 player game. What server size are you playing on? 64 player servers can cause substantial frame rate drops on weaker CPU's. Your last statement about the black screens is quite simply concerning. To me it sounds like your graphics card driver is crashing and then restarting. Is your GPU overheating, and is it OC'd?

I tried it on my 8800gtx which is better then the 8800gt I used before.

Cpu usage is maxed and gpu usage hits about 30%

One issue is that your CPU is bottlenecking your graphics card. This means your framerate will be limited to whatever your CPU can keep up with. The odd part here is that your CPU should be capable of at least 30fps average during a 64 player game. Not only that, but this still doesn't explain why you would be getting less fps with a better GPU...

Which brings me to another possibility, which is driver conflicts. I suggest you install a program called DPC latency checker, and see if you get any red bars during gameplay. Also, check your device manager. See what is under "Display Adapters." Do you have both 8800GT and 8800 GTX listed?

Quite frankly, I'm as bewildered as you are. I had a similar issue to yours which was caused by a bad GPU, but I cannot say that it is the same thing.

Sorry that he didn't get back to you in time... you should stick to 16-32 player servers. That CPU is a little weak for 64 player. Also, what resolution are you playing at? That GPU certainly cannot handle anything above 720p. Here at Game Debate we tend to consider 30 fps playable; however, I myself like to give specific frame rates just in case someone has a differing view. Sorry about your inco

I would recommend you stay away from this game until you get a better GPU. The amount of V-RAM on that graphics card is simply horrific; if it runs at all, you will absolutely need to play on the lowest resolution possible. Once you get a better graphics card (even if it's a terrible one like an HD 5450) you should be able to run the game assuming that graphics card has 1gb VRAM.
