To run Microsoft Flight on high graphics settings your PC will require at least a GeForce 9800 GT / Radeon HD 5670 1024MB with a Pentium Dual Core E6600 3.06GHz or Phenom II X3 710 CPU. 6 GB will also be needed to achieve the Microsoft Flight rec specs and get 60FPS. To be able to run at all you will need at least 2 GB system memory. Your GPU is expected to be able to deliver DirectX 11.00. We suggest a 11 year old PC to play smoothly.

Pas besoin d'un i7 pour avoir la configuration recommandée, ce jeu je me fait tourner en ultra avec ceci :
CPU : Intel core 2 Duo E6750 2,66GHz
RAM : 6 Go
C.G : Nvidia GeForce GT 630 2 Go DDR3
HDD : 1 To
Ecran 19" Packard Bell (résolution 1440 x 900).
Aucun lag. Tourne à merveille.Pour ceux qui ont une GT 610, ne mettez pas à fond (ne tient plus la route)

Can anyone tell me if Microsoft Flight benefits from hyper threading? I am considering either an i5 or i7 for an upgrade hence the question. Also will it benefit from dual GPU's in SLI (I understand that FSX doesn't)? Really appreciate your input.

Flight simulators are the most demanding games on the PC. For years, they have required top-of-the-line hardware if you want the best results. As well, you need to invest in flight controllers.

Great graphics and engine, although so far, gameplay seems a bit strangled, but I havn't played it much. I get 3 green ticks from GD, but I can max out easily - overestimated requirements.

yeah, I guess Microsoft wanted to be greedy, you get the planes in game, and there are a lot more to buy as DLC, but hey, with 4 planes you still have hours of fun ^^
