To run Mass Effect on high graphics settings your PC will require at least a GeForce 7900 GTX / Radeon X1800 Series 256MB with a Pentium 4 2.66GHz or Athlon 64 3700+ CPU. 2 GB will also be needed to achieve the Mass Effect rec specs and get 60FPS. To be able to run at all you will need at least 1 GB system memory. Your GPU is expected to be able to deliver DirectX 9.00. We suggest a 18 year old PC to play smoothly.

I can't even get a constant 60 fps maxed at 1080p with my rig. I don't think it runs well with new hardware. I bought the trilogy, hopefully the other two are better.

yes just your gfx card will have some trouble so everything on lowest settings and resolution something like 1024x576 or somewere around there.

I don't think you can, even on 800x600 with absolute minimums. My laptop doesn't get 30 fps with bare bones specs. Sorry man.

Yes I believe so but the game just runs like crap normally so make sure you give it some time when you test it out. ME2 and 3 are MUCH better running.
