Mortal Kombat is the first M-rated Mortal Kombat game to be developed for the seventh generation of consoles. This is also the first title to include 3D graphics but gameplay solely on the 2D plane. The developers have stated that this is the first game in which they are making a conscious effort to create deeper gameplay for more hardcore players. It is slated for an early 2011 release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems.
To run Mortal Kombat on high graphics settings your PC will require at least a 0MB GeForce GTX 560 / Radeon HD 6950 with a Core i5-750 2.66GHz or Phenom II X4 965 CPU. 4 GB will also be needed to achieve the Mortal Kombat rec specs and get 60FPS. To be able to run at all you will need at least 2 GB system memory. Another thing to consider is the DirectX capability of your GPU. Mortal Kombat needs a GPU capable of running DirectX 9. We suggest a 10 year old PC to play smoothly.
