on this res. i think maybe you can go with high and as this game is well optimized too but go with tweak high keeping reflection to low and crowd level to low as well :)

grid 2 rocks mate and well optimized too although your rig. can handle both of game well basically both of games are of same platform but grod 2 is good and have some better graphics :) choice is yours

i have socket 939. i cant to better than opteron 180. But i i buy new motherboard nad cpu it cost 30 motherbord+ debend on cpu (4cores is good) about 50=80euros

You could run it on med - high if you set croud on low and some other stuf that uses GPU. Have fun :)

ok guys, i updated the game itself and put both crowd and reflections on high, i tried it for like an hour and i had no problems at all, thanks y'all

it's entirely different game;
much better optimized (for me high settings at average 69 fps at 1280x1024)
it's racing, not playing with cops in a town
damage influences your car handling
little customization options (compared to none in NFS:MW2012)
different handling overall (you really need to get used to it)

cpu and gpu are fine for med. setting btw which res. he is using i think 720p will be finw ith med setting keeping aa off as well as crowd level and reflection to low but the main trouble is ram 1gb ddr2 ram is very low and slow too i think med. but low if game lag because ofd ram mate :) good luck to your friend
