Fable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Feral Interactive on March 31, 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armor, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the antagonist, Jack of Blades' voice sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic; and being able to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery behind Lady Grey's sister.

Lower the resolution a little and you should have stable 30+ FPS in medium settings no AA.

I played it years ago on Sempron 2800+, Radeon 9550 and 256MB RAM so you have nothing to worry about:)

are the fps scores based on lowest or highest? like if it says 61 fps for ultra, does that mean thats the most fps i can get, lowest, or just an average? meaning it can be a lot lower, but a lot higher too? i mean, when in battles or when the game gets in more depth, i dont want it to drop to like only 30 fps

This game actually runs fairly easily on medium with Nvidia 5200. I'm looking forward to testing this on Intel GMA 3650. It'll be awesome if I can run this and Morrowind fairly easily on the ATIV 500t I just got.

This version of Fable 1 comes with both the original Fable game but with more content included as well as tweaks to some characters and adding more importance to some throughout the game. :) Hope that helps!

Think the requirements are wrong. I can easily play this on Max with a high fps.

I know this series has received numerous bad reviews, but Fable has been that one soft spot in my heart ever since I first played it on the original Xbox. Lion Head Studios has been bashed repeatedly for not delivering, but in my opinion, I think they have done just fine. If you are debating whether or not to get this game, I say if you can play it, get it. This game has made the largest impact in my gaming life, maybe it can impact yours too.

Can you say if I am able to run this on my system? I fell in love with this game years ago and want to play it on my laptop. My GPU sucks big time, so I was hoping that I could adjust the settings enough to make it work well. Any suggestions on a new GeForce card would also be appreciated!

Since it is almost Christmas, I think I might just wait a little bit and pick it up on Steam for five bucks or less. that way I could either be pleasantly surprised, or lose only five dollars.

your CPU is actually 12% better then mine. its just you have a Geforce Go graphics card/chip set. i don't imagine it could do much. you could probably play some oldies like age of empires, perfect world, MAYBE roller coaster tycoon 1-2 maybe 3, WoW runs well on low graphics for me when i had a ati radeon 9600* and it was pretty weak. but a lot of recent games probably wont play well. hope i helped :)

Well, I picked it up on Steam, and it works! The only problem I have had with it is some text flashes in and out, but it is only a minor annoyance. I will be sure to look at those games you mentioned, and thanks again!
