We wanted to make a game that used the tools of today to inspire the fun of yesterday. Our goal was to make a game that was as simple in gameplay as the games of the early 80s and equally as fun—even though gamers’ tastes have changed over the years.
This led us to the classic style that permeates
all aspects of the game, from the gameplay, to
the art, to the music. Like most classic
games, BIT.TRIP BEAT is deceptively
difficult. It pulls you in with easy-to-use
controls but then beats you down with
difficulty levels that rival our favorite games
of the 80s.
While the game can be difficult, if you crank up
the tunes and get in the zone, you’ll have a
great time. Performing perfectly isn’t required to experience all the game’s content, but the extra challenge will keep score-hunters coming back in search of each level’s elusive “PERFECT” score.
BIT.TRIP BEAT System Requirements
Recommended Requirements
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.0GHz / AMD Athlon XP 1600+
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 2400 Pro or NVIDIA GeForce 8200
BIT.TRIP BEAT requires at least a Radeon HD 2400 Pro or GeForce 8200 to meet recommended requirements running on high graphics setting, with 1080p resolution. This hardware should achieve 60FPS. 512 MB will also be needed to achieve the BIT.TRIP BEAT rec specs and get 60FPS. Make sure your GPU can run DirectX 9 or BIT.TRIP BEAT won’t run. We suggest a 13 year old PC to play smoothly.
