Monkey Island maestro Ron Gilbert is back, and making a return to his point and click roots with the newly announced Thimbleweed Park. Thimbleweed Park is a retro-themed throwback to adventure games of yore.
There’ll be five playable characters who can be switched between at will, with the plot focusing on two has-been detectives investigating a dead body found in a river outside of town. Thimbleweed’s a run-down sort of place, and the 81 inhabitants have become embroiled in a tale of mystery and dark secrets.
