Paradox Interactive tha announced the latest in a long line of expansion packs for Europa Universalis IV - El Dorado. The mythical city of gold provides the backdrop for this Spansion conquest-themed add-on, as Central and South American nations begin exploring in the hunt for this fantastical place that offers unlimited wealth.
In addition to the Amazonian antics, in El Dorado players will be able to make use of the Nahuatl, Inti and Mayan religions, through which you can sacrifice animals, worship the Sun, or create a bloody accurate calendar. Conquistadors can be sent in search of the Seven Cities of Gold, although this expedition will prove fruitless we don’t know. Getting the gold is the least of your worries though, because the route back is beset by pirates which must be fended off with privateer fleets.
