Not always…or not anymore. Sims 3 medevil, was not an expansion of sims 3, it was standalone. This will probably be the expansion of the sims 3 medevil game. Not 100% sure.

Ha! So here I was thinking they would keep releasing patches that add new quests! Ohh boy. EA is so on my dark list right now.
