Tom vs The Armies of Hell is an indie game being developed for PC and Mac. The style is a hybrid of old-school and modern mechanics. The game is played from a isometric view, but rendered in 3d. You play Tom, a computer programmer whose office is plunged into Hell when an experiment in a secret lab below the office park goes arry. The gameplay is fast and action-oriented, and involves using an arsenal of heavy weapons as well as demon powers Tom aquires throughout the course of the game, due to his having a demon arm grafted onto his body by a friendly(-ish) imp named Beezle, who saved him from the intial destruction. The game is still very early, but the goal is to create a mashup of old-school arcade action and more modern graphics and play mechanic
