The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset from Oculus VR.
The consumer version of the Oculus Rift is arriving in Q1 2016, and will come with a launch line-up of titles from Oculus VR and its partners.
The Oculus Rift headset offers improved head-tracking and a high-resolution, 90Hz screen for optimal presence, immersion, and comfort.
Oculus Rift will require Radeon R9 290 graphics card with a Core i5-4590 3.3GHz or FX-8350 processor to reach the recommended specs, achieving high graphics setting on 1080p. 8 GB will also be needed to achieve the Oculus Rift rec specs and get 60FPS. Oculus Rift needs a graphics card thats at least as powerful as a GeForce GTX 960 2GB/Radeon R9 380 paired with FX-4350/Core i3-6300 3.8GHz CPU to match the min specs. This PC setup will deliver 25-35 Frame Per Second at Low graphics setting on 720p resolution. Don't try and play Oculus Rift without 8 GB, which helps get the 30FPS We suggest a 5 year old PC to play smoothly.
