I checked the system requirements and compared the GTX 1050 against your GPU which is actually worse than yours by 55%. So yes it will run on the system though achieving 60fps at 1080p might be difficult if not impossible with that GPU. Your best bet is turn all settings down to low.
Do NOT turn on the "Memory for Streaming" option! YOUR GPU CAN'T HANDLE IT!
You can 60FPS it with that, maybe with a tweaked medium-high.

In short you will mostly be getting 58-60+ fps if you choose to run at medium-high tweaked settings, it will be totally playable and generally a good smooth experience. This game is well optimized even the 970 can handle it its a beast of a card
The 970 is no beast. It's actually more mid-range by today's standards.
Death Stranding just isn't very demanding at all.

Well thats what i said , hence the " even the 970 can handle it" part … Its no beast but still can run many games at medium to high tweaked settings and for someone who owns it and doesnt have the money to upgrade it definitely is a great gpu

You guys are all awesome! Thank you very much for your input. I just bought a EVGA 2060 Super and got the game for free with my purchase, so I'll be able to play worry free. Was about to get a 2070 until I found out the 2060S was newer and cheaper. Would have liked to get a 2070 Super but it was out of my price range.
Can I run ? My FX-8120 is running at 3.9Ghz.
It should be possible, tho you might have to tweak the settings to get stable 60FPS at 1080p

at 1080p definitely , hell with the use of DLSS 2.0 id say you might even be able to go 4k 60 fps as they are claiming this game to be very well optimized

It should be possible.
You meet the min system requirements, and since your goal is medium 1080p (some tweaks may be necessary) I think it should work.

Yes im willing to tweak whatever is necessary ( atleast to the point where it doesnt look like a ps2 game lol). I'm hoping its well optimized all Hideo kojima games ive ever played were tho but fingers crossed here.

Averaging 58 fps on high settings , it depends on the areas though when its really dense area with trees and ambient occlusion it drops to even 40 fps but other than that getting about 60 mostly , i knew it would be well optimized !

Why is this game getting poor optimization score when it's not even released yet? do people really hate kojima or death stranding that bad?

Realistically, what do you think the performance will be? Just recently upgraded my mobo, processor and ram. Saving up for a new GPU, looking at the 2070 or 2070S. Hoping within the next few months.
