PC System Analysis For Oblivion Requirements
Oblivion will require Radeon X800 GTO graphics card with a Pentium 4 3.0GHz or Athlon XP 3000+ processor to reach the recommended specs, achieving high graphics setting on 1080p. Don't try and play Oblivion without 0MB, which helps get the 30FPS Another thing to consider is the DirectX capability of your GPU. Oblivion needs a GPU capable of running DirectX 9.00. To summarise, Oblivion needs around a 18 year old PC to play at recommended settings.

At your resolution, playing at medium settings should give you a constant 30+fps. I suggest you should upgrade your gpu for that cpu of yours.

I think at that resolution you can try medium settings, see how that works out then lower your settings or resolution if you are not satisfied..

Just FYI, this game has lots of mods. I have a laptop that has an HD4200 mobility graphics card. Ugly at first, but now looking pretty@1366x768 max view@over 30 fps. Only thing not maxed is shadows with Linux and open source Radeon drivers.

I think , but i'm not sure , you can at 20-25 fps . The best would be to change your resolution to 1280x720 To get 30 fps constant !
