I guess you have a AGP slot. The FX5500 is pretty poor. I had a card like thins in one of my old rigs, it was 256mb 128bit, i replaced it with 6600GT 128mb 128bit. I felt enormous difference. Nice CPU! I had P4 3ghz, 2GB DDR1 RAM and the 6600GT pretty good old rig!

Yeah it sucks, I had to play everything on low but on 1366x768 for some reason resolution didn't matter for this card only settings. Too bad the cpu died from the overclock...

What settings for me??
(note: My GPU isn't explicitly said to be an X-300, as the computer says it is X300/X550/X1050 graphics card, and it doesn't say anything on the card itself)

i have played Flat Out 3, and the graphics were horrible, i was supposed to buy this game instead of that..
now, i have this game, this is the best looking flat out out there, with the Fla Out 3, my GPU is struggling to get 30+ FPS at medium settings. with Flat Out 2, i can easily MAX it all out for 40-45+ FPS ..
why is this game so good with graphics and physics, yet does not demand a beasty GPU/specs? .. damn, i love it

Very realistic. Physics are awesome, so are the visual details. At first you'll be just crashing around and have fun with realistic car damage, but then you'll get better and maximum enjoyment is guaranteed. Calling this game ''smash 'em all'' type of game is just too shallow.

I agree with all of you. It would be perfect if all the games would have low specs and big quality like this. But you can't have it all. We must be happy with what we have. Much better than nothing in my opinion
