MCV can reveal a Rambo video game will arrive at retail next year, courtesy of UK-based publisher Reef Entertainment and supplier Creative Distribution.
Reef fended off competition from other publishers to secure the game rights to Rambo from film company StudioCanal. The deal allows Reef to develop and release a number of titles based on the popular Sylvester Stallone movies.
Craig Lewis, commercial director at Reef added: We have big ambitions for Reef and the Rambo IP is the first step in establishing us as a worldwide player. Rambo will be a triple-A title on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and will capture the gritty atmosphere and full-on action which made the Rambo movies so successful.
Your PC will need a graphics card thats as powerful as a GeForce GTX 650 2GB/Radeon HD 6970 and it should be paired with either a Athlon II X4 631/Core i5-655K 3.2GHz CPU to match the Rambo recommended system specs. This PC setup will deliver 60 Frames Per Second on High graphics settings on 1080p monitor resolution. Rambo needs a Radeon HD 2350 Pro graphics card to play on low settings, with a Core 2 Duo E8300 2.83GHz or Phenom II X2 511 processor to reach the minimum specs, achieving 30FPS on 1080p monitor res. You should also have 2 GB system memory for min specs. To summarise, Rambo needs around a 7 year old PC to play at recommended settings.
