Believe it or not my rig can run XCom, it has bad framerate on cutscenes and sometimes frames drop a lot with a lot of particle effects, but as long as you have specs like mine you can run it with not too many problems.

probably not. Game's decently optimized but a strain on the hardware. if you have a PS3 or 360 it released on those as well. You MIGHT get playable with everything lowest, but no promises. And you'd have to make for sure your laptop had proper cooling. My main issue playing the game was my laptop getting too hot and my FPS tanking. (which it was still playable, just annoying)

Yes you will be able to run this, dont listen to Bt123456789. I can run it medium settings with good FPS and your RIG isn't much worse than mine. So yes, low-medium settings.

The hell, my rig is nearly the same as yours without overclocks and i can run it in ultra with a constant 60fps

I'm running it at 1280X1024 or 1366X768 on high preset with a very smooth mid-30+, depending on clocks, I've never pushed them--but I prefer 1280X1024 because of widescreen--but you should be able to run it likewise, fellow gamer, if not better depending on screen res! :) Gonna try it later on with 1400X1050 and bumped clocks! :)

I realize this is very old but you should, my laptop has the exact same specs and I was running well with everythong on low, textures high (if I remember right), and got good FPS, just make sure your laptop's cooled properly, my issue was overheating which killed my framerate.

this game is by no far demanding in any way try high settings and if your getting a 60 fps you can choose to raise up to max and see what you get there but chances of you running it are really good

You can play it on that machine if you upgrade from XP.

You are able to run this game in max setting man, since its a tactical turn based strategy, FPS isn't really what you're looking for, although you are guaranteed to run the game smoothly most of the time :)
