Total War: Three Kingdoms is using the Total War Game Engine game engine. Your PC will need a graphics card thats as powerful as a GeForce GTX 970 4GB/Radeon R9 FURY X 4GB and it should be paired with either a Ryzen 5 2600X 6-Core 3.6GHz/Core i5-6600 3.3GHz CPU to match the Total War: Three Kingdoms recommended system specs. This PC setup will deliver 60 Frames Per Second on High graphics settings on 1080p monitor resolution. 8 GB will also be needed to achieve the Total War: Three Kingdoms rec specs and get 60FPS. You should also have 4 GB system memory for min specs. You will require a DirectX 11.00 GPU. We suggest a 8 year old PC to play smoothly.

we have similar cpu but i have a little higher res and gpu and i am getting aroun 40-50fps on average with large troops

Your cpu and gpu are considerably weak , i think you might be able to get something between 25-40 fps on the lowest settings.

At high settings, I do not believe there is adequate free (unpaged) VRAM available. Perhaps Medium.

But does total war games even depend that much on VRAM?

Total War games love to have extra VRAM, even if it never uses it. That is what I saw with a 390x, FireX, 590, and GTX2070, anyway.

For Total War games 1060 or 1050ti is enough for high settings but, Total War wants you to have good CPU...

I highly doubt youll be getting 60 constant even on that resolution. If you lower your settings then maybe yes , but on medium you'll be getting around 35-45 fps in battles and those 2-cores don't help much either,lower the settings i'd say
