Final Fantasy XIII runs on the Crystal Tools game engine. Final Fantasy XIII requires a Radeon HD 5870 1024MB graphics card with a Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz or Phenom II X4 925 processor to reach the recommended specs, achieving high graphics setting on 1080p. Final Fantasy XIII needs a Celeron E1400 Dual-Core 2GHz or Athlon 5000B Dual Core processor coupled with a GeForce 8600 GT to get it to run minimum system requirements. This will return around 30FPS at 720p screen res on low graphics settings, but you can also adjust the settings further to tweak. Minimum RAM requirements are 1 GB system memory. I know i can run it and everythng was fine, but suddenly (exited game for dinner and restart) fps dropped from 30 to 4 while fighting and inside the menus. Any advice?

It's a shame that my GTX 960m can't run a 2009 game smoothly at 1080p. It can reach 60 fps easily, but then at some point it drops down to around 30 fps for no reason at all. The problem is not solved even when I decreased the resolution.

This game is heavily cpu dependent and works based on ur cpu's single core performance. Drop the settings lower and lock it at 30fps if u don't want varying framerates. I too get 30-60fps most of the time inbetween these fps. This game cannoth run at 60fps locked cuz of it being designed to run like **** on an otherwise decent pc.

the trailer here is for XIII-2 and not for this game as the incident in the trailer video actually happens in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and also at the end of the video it's clearly mentioned Final Fantasy XIII-2. Game Debate plz correct this problem

You can run the game, but not at high. If I remember correctly, the game isn't optimized well. (That might have changed since it came out).

No i don't think you can run this game with a HD4330m. A nvidia gt 210 (which is a bit better, but couldn't find the fps test of a hd4330m,) has an average of 22 fps on low.
It's up to you to think if you want to play it on lower than 20 fps.

(not sure what iteration means, if it is "what is the latest good game of ff i think you can run" then this is your answer):
Think FF VII or FF VIII will be playable.
However if you want to play more games with this computer, maybe you should buy a graphics card. If your budget is low, a GT 730 or GT 740 (this game on low 30-40fps). If you got more money to spend, a GTX 750ti or R7 260x (this game 60 fps with some settings higher).
