World War 3 will be coming exclusively to Steam Early Access in 2018. WW3 features large-scale combined arms combat in Warzone mode, complete with vehicles and high-tech drones. Depending on the game mode there’s also going to be an emphasis on attack or defense, a little like Siege.
There’s also a battle royale game type known as Recon. It’s fairly different than the usual formula though and focuses on small reconnaissance squads tasked with capturing high-value military targets.
Combat promises to err on the realistic site, despite World War 3’s announcement trailer demonstrating some obvious bombast. Full ballistics physics will be at play, while the maps themselves will be set in real-world cities like Moscow, Berlin, and Warsaw.
The best chance at playing World War 3 at recommended sys specs on a 1920x1080 screen resolution will be if your PC has at least the GeForce GTX 970 4GB/Radeon R9 290 graphics card. The CPU required to meet recommended requirements is either an AMD Ryzen R5 1600 or Intel Core i7-4790K 4-Core 4.0GHz processor. This type of gaming rig will deliver you around the 60 Frames per second. 16 GB will also be needed to achieve the World War 3 rec specs and get 60FPS. Another thing to consider is the DirectX capability of your GPU. World War 3 needs a GPU capable of running DirectX 11. We suggest a 5 year old PC to play smoothly.
