Can I run Star Wars: The Old Republic at 30FPS on Ultra at 720p?
FX-8120 Radeon R9 380X Sapphire Nitro 4GB Edition 24GB
100% of 1 people think this can run

I KNOW I can run this game, but Warzones and Operations with more than 8 players at one time, make the game do a lot of FLICKERING and STUTTERING. EVEN with expert-set PC settings and appropriate GPU drivers. This game is OVERLY CPU intensive and HARDLY AT ALL relies on GPU, and it is stuck at only 32-bit and not 64-bit. Uses OLD FORK of Hero engine and not the stock or current version. ... And this is the biggest reason why. YOUR old or new SYSTEM IS NOT THE ISSUE with this game, trust me.

Your game specs are OUTDATED. The game has been updated SEVEN TIMES since it released in 2011. MINIMUM game space for HDD is at least 48 GIGABYTES. And Windows XP is no longer supported. MINIMUM OS for this game is Windows 8. Vista and XP ran into problems with a Microsoft certificate expiration that Bioware was not able to rectify, thus those 2 operating systems CAN NO LONGER RUN this game. Linux users will be happy as this game runs BETTER on platforms like STEAMDECK (Arch Linux) and is even faster than on Windows installations because of DXVA/Wine emulation.

SIDE NOTE: the list of SSDs for making your rig profiles on this website are also outdated. MY NEW SSD the Samsung 980 PRO is NOT LISTED when making rig specs.

Graphics card sucks, mate. You should upgrade all your PC, though. At least a G3220, a GTX 750 and 4-8GBs of RAM.

the ONLY thing you need to upgrade is your CPU and maybe have a lot of RAM. GPU DOES NOT MATTER with this game. The old forked Hero Engine BARELY UTILIZES ANY of the GPU to run this game. THE GAME ITSELF HAS OLD and BAD CODE. And devs are NOT willing to go fix any of it.

Looking to replace my old laptop with a cheap 2-in-1. Figure SWTOR would be a decent benchmark. Just found a HP Pavilion 11-k120nr x360 on Amazon. Good enough?

Try using the low settings, if you get 60+ on that try medium, remember to press Ctrl + Shift + F if you wanna watch your fps without a benchmark program. Cheers!

Do you know if i'd get 60FPS though? Answering "Yes" isn't entirely helpful.

You'll be able to max it out with 60FPS, no worries. Happy gaming.

Hey guys, can anyone with the physical copies of the game tell me how much data of the 25GBs is on the discs? I have a limited download quota and would like to save myself some data by buying the discs instead of downloading it all.

The best way to level up if you're not a subscriber is by doing all the side missions you see, that way you'll usually always be on the same level as your quest or above it.
