I think your video card is not too good for this resolution , but you can reach 20 fps at normal settings . Have luck !!

yes he will be able to run it on his old PC. i played it on:
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 7200/7300 LS( not sure about GPU name)
RAM: 2GB
you can play it on low, with 30-38 FPS on your old rig

i cant believe you run that on low with 40 fps cause when i had my netbook atom n570@1.66ghz 2C/4T with gma 3150 i ran it with 20fps

You'll be able to play it on max settings with that easily at probably at least 50+ FPS (and probably mostly at 60).
